Hello all! This blog has gotten a really slow start - what with an amazing but busy summer, keeping up with my family blog, and a consistent stream of photography jobs - I've been taking pictures - but posting them has taken a backseat. My goal for this fall is to get caught up by posting some of my favorite photography sessions from this summer (as well as a few more all time favorites from my portfolio). So stay tuned! And in the mean time - GIVEAWAYS! First check out this amazing giveaway by the talented ZoZoBugBaby! I just love her style and her designs are brilliant and unique. Great clothes for kids (and very photo-worthy ;) if you're looking for something for your next photography session).
And then head on over to Pink Paisley Photography and check out THIS adorable giveaway as well involving some adorable clothing/accessories from DollCake.
I keep saying that as soon as I win one of the many giveaways I've tried for - then it will be MY turn to have a giveaway! :) Here's hoping!!

The world of photography is always full of adventure! I feel like a kid in a candy store these days! Check out an amazing giveaway by Crave Photography HERE! I'm crossing my fingers and toes - I think I would faint dead away if I somehow won. But either way I'm really enjoying all the amazing talent/ideas/resources out there! What a fun idea - maybe I'll do a giveaway some day... :)

This weekend I tried out my new 50mm 1.8 lens on this darling boy.
What a cutie-pie! He was precious blowing bubbles. I couldn't get enough of those beautiful eyes and blonde locks. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
He was so cute in his spring outfit - ready for Easter.
But being a little boy, he couldn't wait to change into his t-shirt and "basketball shorts." He actually knew what that meant and Mommy and Daddy used it as motivation to get the last few pictures. "You wanna put on your basket ball shorts? Okay then look at the camera and smile!" lol. And he did!
It was too cute!
And he couldn't wait.
It's the simple things, like blowing bubbles...and basketball shorts, that bring the purest joy.

In October of 2009 I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of my SILS (sister-in-law's sister) :) and her husband. It was an amazing trip and a fantastic wedding.
The scenery in Jekyll was amazing and to this day is was one of the most gorgeous weddings I've ever seen. I wasn't the "official" photographer so I had the best of both worlds really - I got to enjoy the wedding without a lot of pressure, but capture some beautiful moments to share with the happy couple.
I was the "official hair stylist" though. ;) And once again - my favorite bridal hair style to date! I had so much fun with her vision for her hair and I think we both loved the outcome.
I love weddings.
